Windows 10X coming to Single Screen Devices First : Windows10

As expected. It always was. They’re just bringing it to single screen devices FIRST now and dual later. Everything else is the same.

This is actually exciting news. It means that while you might not see a flood of neo type devices soon, you’ll see surface go, surface laptop type devices etc with windows 10x.

The more devices using it, the more mainstream it becomes and the bigger player Microsoft becomes in light and mobile computing.

This means there will finally be a Microsoft competitor to chromeos and iPados and you’ll be able to pick up $300 windows devices sooner.

All of this is good news. Competition is good for consumers. More people use windows 10x the greater need for apps too so hopefully more dev support for Microsoft store and PWAs.
