Plumbing ?s : Coffee
Hello all! I am looking into starting a coffee shop in my neighborhood (Oakland, CA). I have a space identified, however the landlord is not so sure about the plumbing. I will be viewing the location with a plumber this week. What questions should I ask them to make sure that this location is suitable for a coffee shop?
For context, the space is about 400 sq feet and was built in 1938. It has been largely empty for the past ten years, but at one point it was a barber shop. Because the space is pretty small, the concept is more along the lines of an espresso bar – i.e. no kitchen, very minimal seating if any. Equipment would be espresso machine, grinders, ice machine, triple sink… Trying to keep the whole thing fairly straightforward and simple to minimize overhead. Just a bit nervous about the plumbing!
